After teaching home-schooled students and tutoring privately for 25 years, Jeanne Howard-Snodgrass isn’t even close to being tired of teaching math. She’s excited to join PAA as a math teacher.
While Howard-Snodgrass grew up in Phoenix, Arizona and has lived and traveled to 20 different countries, she has called Maywood Park “home” for 28 years. She and her husband loved raising their three children in this small town with towering trees. She enjoys walking and being in the outdoors. She also loves opening her home to guests, college and seminary students needing to “crash.”
PAA is like home because one of her children is a recent graduate and she serves as an International Student host parent. Joining the teaching staff will bring an even deeper connection to PAA as she marries her skills and love of teaching with the school’s Christ-centered and character-driven motto.
“It’s especially fulfilling to learn each student’s learning style and alter my teaching style to help each individual be successful,” she says. “Success builds self-confidence in life and helps them perform better in every area!”
