Spiritual Life
At Portland Adventist Academy, students of all faiths are welcomed into a Christ-centered, character-driven environment. Christian values are woven into every part of the day, giving your student countless opportunities to seek God in everything they do.
Our teachers model faith daily, striving to guide each student toward a lifelong walk with Christ. Their goal is simple but profound: to see and love students the way Jesus does, and to meet every student in heaven one day.
Because of this hope and shared commitment, PAA offers a rich variety of spiritual opportunities:
Weekly Worship: Every Tuesday, the campus pauses for chapel, where students gather in the heart of our school to worship. Through Campus Ministries, students can plan and lead worship events, including chapel and optional Friday night vespers.
Enriched Worship Moments: Students participate in Bible Camp, leadership retreats, Agape Feast, Fusion and Community Vespers, Weeks of Worship, and service projects like InsideOut Day and Change Agent Projects.
Beyond PAA Service & Outreach: Over the years, students have shared God’s love through projects in Cuba, Mexico, Costa Rica, and Portland, learning to be His hands and feet in meaningful ways.
At PAA, faith is lived and experienced—students grow spiritually while learning to serve, lead, and love others with courage and compassion.
