As many of you know, Mr. Tim Ellis, our talented Guitar and Performance & Production teacher of nearly 20 years, is battling melanoma.
Mr. Ellis continues teaching our students at the high caliber he is known for, but understandably, there are days he cannot be present. On those days, students are blessed to have a former student of Mr. Ellis in the classroom. PAA alumnus, Erik Peterson has a music degree from Warner Pacific College and, most importantly and thanks to Mr. Ellis, brings our students a quality of music education for which Mr. Ellis is known.
It is important that Mr. Ellis and his family have the time and space to conserve energy for the road ahead. Out of respect and privacy for Tim and his family, it’s been asked that calls, texts, and emails be avoided. Cards may be sent to Aaron Meyer, Tim’s dear friend and colleague. Mr. Ellis and his family have a deep faith in and love for Jesus that will be their guiding light on the path forward. “I appreciate all my family and friends that have me in their prayers,” says Mr. Ellis. “I am so blessed.”
