Welcome Back: PAA Staff Is Ready and Excited

The countdown is on, and we could not be more excited.

Teachers returned Monday to an all staff morning worship and meeting, grounding ourselves in the spiritual foundation for the year ahead. Our theme, Made Complete, drawn from Ephesians 3:19, sets the tone for everything we are stepping into together. What a beautiful reminder of who we are and Whose we are as we begin a new year.

One of the highlights of the week was our Prayer Walk, where staff, pastors, and board members walked through the school together, lifting up PAA, our students and families, our staff, our community and churches, and the year ahead. There is something powerful about a group of people who love this school and love these kids stopping to ask God to move in this place. We believe He will.

The rest of the week has been full and good. Reconnecting with colleagues, professional growth sessions, professional learning communities, collaboration time, training, and a whole lot of lesson planning. Behind the scenes, technology has been updated, facilities have been improved and repaired, classrooms have been decorated, and textbooks have been ordered. Our staff has also participated in helpful training on adolescent mental health and school safety, and everyone has been recertified in CPR, AED, and first aid. These students are in good hands.

So much preparation. So much anticipation. So much love for the incredible group of students about to walk through our doors.

Freshmen join us Monday, and the rest of our students arrive Tuesday. We are ready. We are excited. And we are so grateful for the privilege of doing this work.

Here we go, PAA. It is going to be a wonderful year.
