All responsibility for vetting, screening, selecting, and contracting with a host family rests solely with the agency or student’s family.

Local Agent Requirement
A local education agent provides support outside of school and helps students and families with communication, planning, and college applications. This additional support helps students adjust to life in the United States and have a successful experience at PAA.

All international students must have support from a local agency in the Portland area during their time
