PAA Preview Day

This week, while freshmen through juniors explored course options and made plans for the upcoming school year at PAA, seniors participated in two meaningful experiences focused on life beyond high school. They recently returned from Walla Walla University Days, where they had the opportunity to visit campus, experience college life, and begin envisioning their future. They also completed career shadowing across a variety of professions, gaining real world insight and hands-on exposure to potential career paths. Together, these experiences reflect PAA’s commitment to helping students prayerfully discern their gifts and next steps with God’s guidance.

Freshmen through juniors participated in Preview Day, an important opportunity to explore classes and pathways for the upcoming year. Students rotated through presentations from each department, where teachers shared detailed information about courses, expectations, workload, and prerequisites, while answering student questions. This helps students make informed and thoughtful decisions about their academic journey.

Students were introduced to a wide range of electives and core pathways, including options such as advanced curriculum, arts, music, humanities, and STEM focus areas, dual credit and AP courses, and highly experiential learning opportunities. Students and families are invited to partner with Mary, Registrar and Student Services Director, to build a plan that aligns with each student’s goals and calling.

At PAA, the focus is on supporting each student and family as they pursue their unique path. Most students are preparing for college or university, some with long held career goals, while some are exploring trade programs or certifications. Most importantly, PAA is committed to ensuring every student is known, supported, and encouraged as they seek God’s direction and take their next steps with confidence.
