First Performance of the Year: Music Visits Rivergate

The music is officially back, and what a joy it was to hear it.

Dr. Carter brought students from Bell Canto, Alegria, PASO, and Band to Rivergate Adventist School in Gladstone for the first performance of the year. Rivergate is one of PAA's sister elementary schools, and it was such a gift to share our students’ hard work with them.

Our musicians sounded wonderful. All the hours of rehearsal showed, and for a first performance of the year, it was a great start. The Rivergate audience was enthusiastic, cheering and clapping and clearly loving every minute.

Senior Stephanie delivered an outstanding solo that had the whole room listening. What a way to begin her final year of music at PAA.

Moments like this matter. Our students get to share their gifts with young students who may be sitting in PAA’s gym someday, and those younger students get to see what is ahead for them. Music is a ministry, and these students lived that out beautifully.

Thank you, Rivergate, for the warm welcome. Thank you, Dr. Carter, for leading these students so well. And thank you, students, for sharing the gifts God gave you.

We cannot wait for what comes next. 💙
