This week, PAA Ski & Snowboard Club students launched their season with the first of five trips to Mt. Hood Meadows, and they couldn’t have asked for a better start. More than 48 students, alongside their sponsors, spent a stunning, sunny day on the mountain, soaking in fresh air, blue skies, and groomed runs.
From first-timers strapping on skis or boards for the very first time to experienced riders carving confidently down the slopes, every student found their place on the mountain. Beginners cheered their early victories, seasoned skiers and snowboarders pushed their skills, and everyone shared the joy of flying downhill with friends.
Laughter, encouragement, and unforgettable moments filled the day as students challenged themselves, supported one another, and embraced the adventure together. Ski & Snowboard Club has been a cherished part of PAA culture for decades, and it’s exciting to see a new generation of Cougars carrying on the tradition - making memories, building friendships, and hitting the slopes together.
Here’s to an incredible season ahead. See you on the mountain!
