Cougar Basketball Camp 2026: Pouring Into the Next Generation

This week, the PAA gym has been full of the best kind of energy.

Cougar Basketball Camp was in full swing, with our very own Cougar basketball athletes, led by Athletic Director Lance Judd, coaching elementary students in the game they love. Every weekday, young athletes have been conditioning, training, learning new skills, running drills, scrimmaging, and soaking up every minute of it.

But it has been about so much more than basketball.

During rest breaks, campers got to visit the team rooms, see the Cougar trophy collection, and hear about PAA history. They stood in front of the Cougar Hall of Fame display case and got a glimpse of what it means to be part of something bigger than themselves. Seeds planted in the best possible way.

And our Cougar athletes? They showed up beautifully. Each one of them remembered what it meant to be a young camper, looking up to PAA students who poured time and encouragement into them. Now it is their turn, and they are doing it with generosity and joy.

That is the Cougar way. One generation investing in the next, passing on not just skills, but love for the game, pride in the school, and a sense of belonging to something special.

So proud of these young men and the leaders they are becoming. Future Cougars are in great hands.
