            Principal's Message

March 2010

Spring Greetings!

Spring is in the air with longer and more sunny days. It is a great time of year to stop and count the many blessings God gives us including great weather for us to enjoy.

Our recent student led week of prayer was an opportunity for many of our students to share
their love for Jesus with their peers. We are very proud of our students and the zeal that they have to make a positive difference in their world. Our theme for the school year is to become “Just like Jesus” and we are seeing students catch this vision.

Please keep all of the upcoming mission trips in your prayers. Portland, El Salvador, Zambia and Peru are the destinations this year. Your prayers and support will make a huge difference as our students go to minister to the world.

We are making big plans for this upcoming school year. We are starting the process of
registering our returning students for next year. You will be receiving this information within the next two weeks. Thank you for getting the registration materials back to us quickly as this helps us plan for next year and also saves you some registration money for getting it in soon.

We are proud of our basketball teams. Both our girls and guys teams qualified for the State Tournament. We are most proud when one or both of our teams wins the Sportsmanship Awards for our league. This year our girl's varsity won this award. This is a vote of the other league coaches, so it shows how much respect our league has for our players and coaches. Go Cougars!

Plans are moving forward for our new building. The next step will be the building of the 72 bed skilled nursing facility. We are hoping to break ground in the next 6-8 months on this portion of the project. This will help us finance part of the first phase for our new building.

Thanks for your continued support. Working together with God as our Leader, we can realize
our goal of seeing our young people into God's Kingdom.
God's plan for each of us is for us to become more like Jesus! We are excited that PAA/PUA is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. May this be a foretaste of the real celebration where we will plan on spending eternity with a loving God in a perfect place.

Thank you for
helping the next generation of PAA Cougars to truly catch the vision and see the light of Jesus in their eyes.
